IDEM NEO MAVI

IDEM was founded in 1966 and up until now has specialized in the manufacture of dental units with special technical features. Highly innovative design solutions joined to great technological simplicity and working reliability of the dental units are the philosophical principles which have caused IDEM to become an internationally valued and well known brand. Profi is a sole distributor of IDEM units in the UK. IDEM has always been a company towards constant product innovation, from the “mythical” Colibrì of the early 70’s, the 1st dental unit in the world with compensated balanced arm instrumentation and the 1st in Europe with pneumatic instrument selection, or the Skeda series featured by completely inter-changeable modules. All IDEM products are designed, manufactured and tested by highly skilled manpower and technicians in IDEM factory following the most stringent quality control practices. IDEM is based in Gessate, near Milan, Italy. The production is around 500 units per year.

CHAIR - With its unique design concept, a floating chair directly connected with unit’s single-block upright body, it’s very silent and stable. 6 programmable working

positions (2 each for 3 different operators).

CUSPIDOR - The exclusive concealed spittoon, housed inside, form an integral part of the unit. It is operated by an ingenious electro-pneumatic system and gets out automatically at operator or assistant's request.

CLEAN WATER - Instruments water supply system, allowing also alternative sterile liquids supply. Tank capacity 1 lt.

CLEAN SUCTION - Automatic mixer continuously supplies spittoon and surgical suction canulae with a water-based, detergent and disinfectant solution. System also performs both a short-cycle cleaning program, between two successive patients, and a long-cycle, at the end of a working day.

10 FUNCTIONS RH1 FOOTCONTROL - Horizontal shift lever type. Rheostat controls: instruments  start/stop, instruments speed, spray activation, chip-air. Joystick for chair movements and “0” position.

ASSISTANT`S TABLE - Modern and innovative design. It can house up to 4 accessories: 2 suction canulae, a 3-function angled syringe and (optional) a polymerizing lamp or a dynamic instrument (e.g. an electric M/M or a piezo scaler). A tray for instruments and/or medical kits. Keyboard’s 14 controls include: manual and automatic chair movements, glass and spittoon water flow and Clean Suction cycles start. Optionally, table can be equipped with an intra-oral camera supporting arm.
